Thanks Ann. ;-)
It is tough to drop the guard sometimes and realize that external "forces" aren't the cause of misery in life. People have more control over what goes on in their own lives than what a lot of them realize. There are some uncontrollable forces, but for the most part if there's a problem the first place to look should be in the mirror.

I was in a cultural training yesterday and we were given an assignment which resulted in each person taking a look within themselves regarding personal bias's towards others. Examples were, religion, family, sexual orientation, psychological development, etc. Anyway, it made me think and I answered the questions honestly. I realized one of my bias's was that it frustrates me when people arent willing to look inward and try to grow and learn from experiences to see how they got to be where they are. You are right, it is comfortable to remain at a place even if the place causes pain. I understand that on a personal level. I applaud your courage to look within and really know what you want and aren't afraid to face it. Sometimes it is painful to look at but the resulting peace is so freeing. You are an inspiration.

I am right there with you. Mike and I have talked several times on why are we diffrent from those around us. I know it is just a persective but there is nothing wrong with being driven. I used to be out and dancing almost every night but when I decided to get my second degree(plan to be done in December), then the baby and promotion at work..all I can say is hold on this is going to be an amazing ride. It is just nice to have a partner to help navigate the stress I have self induced. Stay driven.

Hugs and Kisses,
Stacy
